This is part of the A King's Tribute quest chain.
Objectives[]
Grand Mason Marblesten of Ironforge wants 5 pieces of Alterac Granite.
Description[]
So our good King would like a memorial built in honor of a soldier named Sully Balloo? And you say the poor chap died during the Thandol Span tragedy?
Bah, will there ever be peace on Azeroth?
Nonetheless, any commission from the King is of utmost importance. To build a truly epic and lasting piece I want to work with one of the finest stones available. Travel to Darrow Hill in Hillsbrad and gather for me some [Alterac Granite].
Rewards[]
You will receive:
- 2500 XP (or 15
at level 70)
- +250 reputation with Ironforge
Progress[]
<Name>, <name>, <name>! Tell me you have enough [Alterac Granite] for me to begin my masterpiece in honor of Sully Balloo.
Completion[]
Perfect! Better than I could have imagined!
And I have quite an imagination you know...
Notes[]
- On completion
- Grand Mason Marblesten says: I'll get to work right away, <name>!
- The mason goes downstairs and pounds at a statue for a while.
- Grand Mason Marblesten says: There you have it! The King should be quite pleased, if I do say so myself.
- Grand Mason Marblesten says: The King's guards should be along shortly to pick up the Memorial. In the mean time, come join me upstairs and let's finish our little chat, <name>.
- The mason returns upstairs to his accustomed place, then offers the next quest in the chain.
