Trivia[]
Both the name Acteon and the quests he gives concerning stag hunting remind the mythical Greek hunter Actaeon. According to the myth, he saw Artemis naked bathing in a river, and the goddess forbade him to speak about the event. But Actaeon cried out to his hunting party what was happening, and Artemis changed him into a stag and turned his hounds against him, pushing them to tear the hunter to pieces. In another version, Actaeon was so proud of his hunting skills that Artemis, irritated, covered the hunter with a stag skin while he was sleeping and let the hounds kill him.
