Adamantine (or adamantium)[1] is a type of metal.
Adamantine steel chains were used in Grim Batol to hold the Dragon Queen Alexstrasza chained.[2]
Goblins created the adamantine steel plates[3][4] that drogbar slaves adhered to Deathwing's body to hold it together.[5]
In the RPG
It is an ultra-hard metal that adds to the quality of a weapon or suit of armor. Weapons fashioned from adamantine have a natural ability to bypass hardness when sundering weapons or attacking objects. Only weapons, armor, and shields normally made of metal can be fashioned from adamantine; an arrow (the arrowhead) can be made of adamantine, but a quarterstaff cannot.[6]
