The Age of Ascension is a period that marks the ending of childhood and the beginning of adulthood for a person. Typically, a ceremony is held to commemorate such an occasion.

The Age of Ascension for Medivh was held in the year 571 (born in 559: ~12 years old[1]) during which time he received the title of Apprentice Conjurer to the Court. Unfortunately, he fell into a coma shortly thereafter.[2]

The ceremony to celebrate the Age of Ascension for Llane Wrynn I was held in the year 577 (born in 564: ~13 years old[1]) whereupon Llane received the full station of Prince of Azeroth. A grand feast was held in Llane's honor on the eve of the ceremony and tens of thousands of devoted subjects offered their wishes of support and long life to the prince.[3]
