Alumeth the Ascended is an elite mob located at Aldur'thar in Icecrown. His [heart], [skull], [scepter] and [robes] must be collected from around the chamber and combined to make his [remains]. The remains can then be used on the crystal to summon him.

Abilities

•  Mind Flay — Inflicts Shadow damage to an enemy and reduces its movements speed for 3 seconds.
•  Psychic Scream — Lets out a psychic scream, causing up to 5 nearby enemies to flee for 4 seconds.
•  Renew — Heals an ally every 3 sec. for 15 seconds.
•  Shadow Word: Pain — Utters a word of darkness, inflicting Shadow damage to an enemy every 3 sec. for 18 seconds.
• Dominate Mind — Takes control of a humanoid enemy up to level 25 for 10 seconds, but increases the time between its attacks by 100%.

Strategies

Make sure the tank is standing at the crystal when summoning as Alumeth will attack as soon as he has spawned.
