Patch changes[]

  • Dragonflight Patch 10.0.7 (2023-03-21): Now heals for 15%/30% of the amount healed (was 10%/20%).
  • Dragonflight Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Re-added and redesigned as a row 8 Restoration talent (was a level 34 Restoration ability). When you critically heal with your Healing Wave, Healing Surge, or Riptide you summon an Ancestral spirit to aid you, instantly healing the lowest percentage health friendly party or raid target within 40 yards for 10/20% of the amount healed.
    Old: When you critically heal with a single-target direct heal, you summon an ancestral spirit to aid you, instantly healing the most injured party or raid target within 40 yards for 30% of the amount healed.
  • Warlords of Draenor Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Removed.
  • Mists of Pandaria Hotfix (2013-07-19): Ancestral Awakening should now properly interact with [Battle Fatigue]. Previously, Battle Fatigue was being incorrectly applied a second time while healing nearby party or raid members.
  • Mists of Pandaria Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Now a level 34 specialization ability for Restoration (was a tier 5 Restoration talent).
  • Cataclysm Hotfix (2011-12-06): Now triggers properly based on pre-absorb healing, even if the triggering heal is fully absorbed.
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Moved from tier 9 to tier 5. Now only mentions single-target direct heal spells.
  • Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): This talent now accounts for your ineffective healing, rather than effective.
  • Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Added.
