Before its destruction.

Ar'gorok was a Horde fortress located on the northwestern part of the Arathi Highlands.

History

Ar'gorok was built by the Horde in order tide the balance of power in Arathi to their favor after the loss of the Undercity and the Alliance newfound influence over the lands of Lordaeron. Constructed over what what once was Northfold Manor, Ar'gorok served as the Horde's main base for the Battle for Stromgarde, in which if it fell to the Alliance, the Horde keep would lie in ruins with Vengeful Ghosts of the Horde's dead haunting it.[1] The Horde would then need to gather enough resources to restore the base and continue their bid to conquer Arathi.

Ultimately, with the final Alliance victory over the Arathi Highlands' western reaches, the stronghold was decisively destroyed and abandoned.[2] Ghosts haunt its ruins, angry after their defeat.[3]
