Ar'kelos is an arcane guardian found guarding the entrance of the Violet Tower in the Netherstorm.
Ar'kelos seems to be giving off a dampening field that prevents Archmage Vargoth from using his magic, which is why Vargoth can't simply just kill the golem himself.

- If you step inside the Violet Tower, you will be afflicted by the Curse of the Violet Tower, which reduces your damage by 50%. You cannot step out of the tower to fight him, as it resets and you have to start over again.
- Hunter pets or warlock demons are not afflicted by this curse, thus making it easier for hunters or warlocks.
