Information
Final Step of the "Staff of Visigoth" questline. There are two other quests that you can get from Archmage Visigoth if you stay.
If you step inside the Violet Tower, you will be afflicted by the 
[25-30] Curse of the Violet Tower, which reduces your damage by 50%. You cannot step out of the tower to fight him, as it resets and you have to start over again.
