Aradria Cloudflyer was a night elven expert hippogryph rider, one of the best in Ashenvale. She was tasked by Commander Haldrissa Woodshaper to send a missive to Darnassus and inform Tyrande Whisperwind that the Horde have infiltrated Ashenvale. She and her hippogryph, Windstorm, were struck down en route by Garrosh Hellscream's orcs. She lost the missive and suffered a mortal wound during the assault. The orcs left her for dead assuming she would die from her wounds, yet she prayed to Elune for the strength to complete her mission before passing on. She was rewarded as Parsis, one of Malfurion Stormrage's druids, found her and brought her back to Darnassus, where she was able to relay her message to Tyrande personally, after which she died from her wounds.^[1]
