Old kiting strategy[]
Before attempting to solo Arazzius, it is important to clear all mobs from the Eastern side of the pools so that the demon can be kited to the road. Once on the road, he can be kited to either the Temple of Telhamat or Thrallmar.
The primary issue hunters must overcome when kiting Arazzius is the infernals he spawns. These can be slowed by Frost Traps or [Frost Nova] or other slowing abilities or picked up with a pet that has AOE aggro capabilities, such as a hunter's gorilla. Because the infernals move faster than the demon, it is usually possible to move to one side and route Arazzius around AOE slowing effects.
Some class and talent combinations may not need to kite Arazzius. This includes, but is not limited to classes with the ability to heal themselves when required.
Quotes[]
Aggro:
- What insolence! What arrogance! To believe you could defeat me on my own doorstep!
Death:
- Master, I have failed...
