Arcadian War Turtle

Source

Mount Journal

Bred for destruction by an insane warlord in a far-off land, but at least the seat is warm.

Speculation

Questionmark-medium
This article or section includes speculation, observations or opinions possibly supported by lore or by Blizzard officials. It should not be taken as representing official lore.
  • The "far-off land" mentioned in the mount journal could be Pandaria as it mentions how the turtle (larger turtles are very common in Pandaria) was bred by an insane warlord. The mogu have had plenty of insane warlords in the past, thus it would not be too far-fetched to assume the Arcadian War Turtle originates from there.
  • However, "Arcadian" (or Arcadia as it would likely be known as) is no known mogu clan or organization, hence the far-off land could also be an unexplored island or continent with how Azeroth's backside is a common topic and that Chronicle Volume 1 mentions Ancient Kalimdor as being Azeroth's largest continent at the time, implying that there were more continents than just Kalimdor.[1]
