Arcane Vessel is located in the Violet Hold during 
[45] In Defense of Dalaran.
It was first created by Millificent Manastorm as a weapon to siphon the essence of a mage, binding their magic to the object. Upon her capture, Millificent shattered the vessel, allowing it to fall into the hands of the enemies. During the third invasion, Archmage Khadgar prepared a plan to use it as bait against Hakkar the Houndmaster. Khadgar asked the Huntsman of the Unseen Path to locate its fragments from the ghosts at the Temple of a Thousand Lights in Azsuna, harpies in Highmountain, the fallen valkyra Aughild the Bitter in Stormheim, and from Andu'talah in Val'sharah.[1]
The Unseen Path then entered the Violet Hold with the archmage, who channeled his essence into the vessel, and it became an object of pure magic. In turn, Khadgar would be in a weakened state, but Hakkar took the bait, having been drawn to the vessel's magic, and the hunters successfully defeated the Houndmaster.[2]
