Artificer Morphalius is an ethereal quest giver located inside the entrance of the Mana-Tombs in Auchindoun.
He and Mamdy the "Ologist" are the only two ethereals so far who have passed through Nexus-Prince Shaffar's ward and lived, although Morphalius was badly hurt and is down to 10% health.
Just the previous day, he had ventured to the Allerian Stronghold and Stonebreaker Hold, approaching both Eckert and Grek in search of assistance from Alliance and Horde adventurers, respectively.

- Mamdy's statement to Morphalius is a reference to The Matrix. In the movie, Morpheus (Lawrence Fishburn) says the line to Neo (Keanu Reeves). Presumably, Morphalius' name is a Matrix reference as well.
