Athanos is a centurion located at the Aspirant's Crucible in Bastion. He has a tendency to humble new aspirants of the Kyrian with overwhelming force. Athanos has previously used a spear called [Humility's Guard].

Athanos is later turned to the Forsworn. Lysonia attempts to channel Athanos's anima to recharge Truthbringer, but he is defeated by the Maw Walker with the help of Pelagos, Kleia, and Mikanikos, and is left unconscious. Ultimately, he is purified and present at the Font of Fealty in the Seat of the Archon during [60] The Grand Reception.

A memory of Athanos was retrieved by the Maw Walker which was used in The Path of Ascension.

Abilities[]

Anima Expulsion — Athanos blasts all targets in a line in front of him for 200 Arcane damage and knocks them back.
Anima Infusion — Attacks deal additional Arcane damage.
Anima Overwhelming — A focused bolt of anima meant to challenge even the heartiest of foes.
Power Stomp — Stomps targets in front of the caster, knocking them back.
Smash — Attacks the ground with a heavy smash, stunning and inflicting Physical damage to all enemies in a cone in front of the caster.
