Auchindoun, the sacred mausoleum-city of the draenei, is a dungeon in Warlords of Draenor, set in southern Talador. Aided by Soulbinder Nyami, who betrayed the Auchenai, the Legion attacked the sanctum in an attempt to capture it for themselves, but were eventually defeated and banished.
Arkonite crystals from the Jorune Mine are used to power Auchindoun and Shattrath,[1] with the Heart of Auchindoun notably powering the defenses of the mausoleum.[2]
Adventure Guide[]
Auchindoun is the holy mausoleum of the draenei, a sanctum of the Light in which the spirits of the dead find respite. The crystalline structure also serves to protect and shield draenei souls from their eternal enemies: the Burning Legion, who hunger eternally for draenei spirits. This fact makes it a location of particular interest to Gul'dan and his Shadow Council, who seek to gain favor with their demonic masters.

- Many pilgrims make their way to Auchindoun.
- There are eight draenei spirits who appear on Auchindoun balconies to give their wisdom: Anchorite Antares, Artificer Calchas, Prelate Coluum, Defender Cosima, Farseer Miraas, Exarch Phoena, Vindicator Pelias, and Rangari Sunon.
- Auchindoun is surrounded by several Spirit Towers, who have no use here compared to The Burning Crusade. There are also two less of them.

- Increased the frequency of loot awards for Normal difficulty.
