Avrus Illwhisper is a satyr in Ashenvale who has fled his clan to seek out the forgiveness of Elune and, ultimately, his redemption. Aware that his intentions are pure, the goddess herself guides an Alliance adventurer into giving him the opportunity. Succeeding in his efforts through a gesture of self-sacrifce, the moon goddess breaks Sargeras' hold over Avrus and restores the redeemed satyr to his night elven heritage.
