Bananas was part of the 2021 BlizzConline charity pet event along with Daisy the sloth for the Doctors Without Borders foundation charity. When the donation goal of $500,000 was reached on March 24, Bananas was available for free to everyone playing retail World of Warcraft by claiming him on the Battle.net Shop,[1] which lasted up until August 1.
