Beast Cleave is a row 4 Beast Mastery hunter talent.
Patch changes[]
Hotfix (2023-05-15): Now causes your pet to strike nearby targets for 40/80% of the damage (was 35/75%). - Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 4 talent (was a level 32 ability). Now causes the pet's attacks to strike nearby enemies for 35/75% damage (was 100%).
- Hotfix (2022-03-28): Now deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets (was 5).
- Patch 9.2.5 (2022-05-31): Beast Cleave now causes your pet to strike other targets for 100% of your pet's damage (was 90%).
- Patch 9.1.5 (2021-11-02): No longer maximum target capped and now deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets.
- Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now capped at 5 targets.
- Patch 7.1.0 (2016-10-25): Now learned at level 50 (was 29).
- Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Now deals 100% of the damage to nearby enemies, up from 75%.
- Hotfix (2014-01-21): Resolved an issue for the following abilities that resulted in damage being calculated incorrectly when used against targets with a greater than 75% reduction to damage from armor.
- Patch 5.4.0 (2013-09-10): Range has been increased to 10 yards (up from 8 yards).
- Hotfix (2013-05-29): Beast Cleave damage against nearby targets will no longer be affected by damage taken modifiers on the primary target.
