- Not to be confused with Lieutenant Benedict.
This article contains lore taken from Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, the manuals, and/or official bonus maps.
Benedict, a member of the Bloodhill Bandits, tried to rob Arthas near a village between the Silver Hand encampment and Strahnbrad by luring him into a trap. He was disguised as a villager and asked for help, but when Arthas approached, he and four bandits attacked Arthas' forces. Arthas and his footmen killed him and his bandits.[1]
Gameplay[]
Upon his death he dropped a Scroll of Healing. In Warcraft III: Reforged, he drops Perenolde's End.
Benedict seems to have the same stats as a Bandit Enforcer except without the Critical Strike ability or [Evasion].
Quotes[]
- Benedict: Save us!
- Benedict (bandit): Get them!
- Footman: It's a trap!
- Benedict (bandit): Take everything, men. Take all the valuables.
Trivia[]
- His name is a possible reference to Benedict Arnold, a famous turncoat during the American Revolution; this is supported considering he is disguised as an ally at first, eventually turning on Arthas and his men.
