Binding Shot is a level 33 Marksmanship hunter ability and a level 40 Beast Master and Survival hunter talent.

Patches and hotfixes

Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Marksmanship: Binding Shot is no longer a Talent and learned by all Marksmanship Hunters at level 33.
Patch 8.1.5 (2019-03-12): Root duration increased to 8 seconds (was 5 seconds).
Hotfix (2016-08-01): Binding Shot now gives the affected target immunity from Binding Shot for 10 seconds, as intended.
Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): No longer available to Survival hunters. Now available at level 75 (was 30).
Hotfix (2015-01-07): Resolved a situation that could cause Binding Shot to not stun the target correctly.
Hotfix (2014-10-20): Binding Shot should now correctly stun players that are mounted or in a shapeshift form.
Patch 5.4.0 (2013-09-10): No longer a Marksman Hunter ability and is once again a talent.
Patch 5.3.0 (2013-05-21): No longer a talent and learned by Marksmanship Hunters at level 30.
Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05): Binding Shot no longer has a Focus cost (was 20 Focus).
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Added.
