Blacksmith (Arathi Basin)

The Blacksmith (aka smith or BS) is a subzone located in the center of Arathi Basin and serves as a resource node. This blacksmith can be captured by any member of the Alliance or Horde and once controlled it provides resources to help win the battleground. Due to its position between the two spawning points, the smithy is a heavily contested area.

The area sits atop an island accessible by two bridges, one to the north and one to the south. One may also access one of the two hills that lie on both sides of the island, however this requires swimming across the small moat of water around the islet, but may offer tactical advantage.
