The Blackwing Cabal[1] is in service of the black dragonflight and are located in Blackwing Lair which was lorded by Nefarian until his death in year 25 when the adventurers of the Horde raided the place.
While most are orcs from the Dark Horde's Blackrock and Dragonmaw clans, the Blackwing Spellbinders are blood elves classified as dragonkin. This may imply that they are dragonkin disguised as elves. Alternatively, they could be elves that become and transform into dragonspawn. Their ranks also include goblin technicians.
Later, the drakonid Blackwing Drakonaar was later discovered imprisoned aboard the Arcatraz of Tempest Keep.
Their fate is unknown following the death of their leader, they did not reappear after Nefarian resurrected and moved to Blackwing Descent.
