Blackwood Camp.
Blackwood Camp[41.1, 56.4] is a settlement of the Blackwood tribe of furbolg. It is located south of the Ruins of Auberdine and southwest of the Eye of the Vortex in Darkshore.
Prior to the Cataclysm, the furbolgs here were corrupted by a satyr and hostile to outsiders. They were cleansed and the satyr killed using a night elf ritual.[1] After the Shattering ravaged Darkshore, the camp came under attack by fire elementals from the Blazing Strand. Malfurion Stormrage called upon their leader, Elder Brownpaw, to stop the land from tearing apart further. The Blackwoods obliged once the fire elemental threat had been stopped.[2]
During the War of the Thorns, the camp was taken by Horde Poachers. In the Battle for Darkshore, the furbolgs had reclaimed it, but most were dead and Gren Tornfur was corrupted.
