“Rogues are best known for being sneaky and very sharp in the slit-your-throat kind of way. What they want from their armor is for it to be quiet, to have plenty of places to keep knives, and yet still be tough enough to turn aside a blade. And I’ve never known a rogue who wasn’t secretly a bit of a clotheshorse either. The Bonescythe Armor seems to fit the bill—and helps with the backstabbing, besides.”
Bonescythe Armor is the tier 3 rogue set.
Sources[]
Most tier 3 items can be acquired through quests given by Rohan the Assassin, who can be found in Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands. Before the quests become active, Echoes of War must be completed.
The quests require gold, several crafting materials, Wartorn Leather Scraps (which drop from Trash Mobs in Naxxramas) as well as a token from a boss in Naxxramas
The only exception is the [Bonescythe Ring], which drops directly from Kel'Thuzad in Naxxramas
The set has since been removed, but was later reintroduced and made available in the Black Market Auction House.
