Breath of the Black Prince concludes the first stage of Wrathion's legendary quest chain, rewarding an extremely rare Sha-Touched gem that fits in a sha-touched socket, which can be found in nine epic weapons.

To get to this point, champions must have acquired ten each of  [Sigil of Power] and  [Sigil of Wisdom], found on the corpses of defeated raid bosses in Mogu'shan Vaults, the Heart of Fear, and the Terrace of Endless Spring, reached honored reputation by killing level-90 mantid and mogu in Townlong Steppes and the Dread Wastes, and acquired the  [Chimera of Fear] from the Sha of Fear in the terrace.

Wrathion's quest chain continues in Patch 5.1, starting with  [90] The Measure of a Leader. Wrathion will not offer that quest until this quest (and all of its prerequisites) has been completed.

Objectives

Go to the top of the stone steps at Mason's Folly and meet Wrathion there to accept your reward.

Notes

Upon accept:

Wrathion says: Allow me to gather up my things, and I will meet you there.

Head to the top of Mason's Folly, where at ^[75, 76] lies  [The Hammer of Folly]. Wrathion walks up the steps and a short script event begins:

Wrathion says: I often venture out here to think. The view is breathtaking, would you agree?

Wrathion says: Pandaria is indeed a jewel. Such beauty. It makes you want to protect her, yes?

Wrathion says: I feel the same way about Azeroth herself.

Wrathion says: You have done great things, friend. I can assure you this is but the beginning of our work together.

Wrathion says: Behold: The power of the foes you've vanquished.

Wrathion summons the  [Sigil of Power] gathered into an orb.

Wrathion says: And the wisdom of those you've outsmarted.

Wrathion adds the  [Sigil of Wisdom] you gathered.

Wrathion says: Here! The embodiment of the fear that you've conquered. May it now strike terror into the hearts of your enemies!

Wrathion summons the  [Chimera of Fear] and adds it to the orb.

Wrathion says: Finally, a gift from me. Make no mistake: the Black Dragonflight lives on!

Wrathion "kisses" the orb with a breath of fire, creating the gem for the player.

Wrathion says: There. My work is done. You can now greatly augment the power of any sha-touched weapon.
