Brightwater Lake

Brightwater Lake is the biggest lake in Tirisfal Glades.

2,600 years ago, Eidre and her family owned the land near the lake living in a keep. The dreadlord Kathra'natir infected the area. The first Guardian of Tirisfal, Alodi, battled the demon on a small island here.^[1]

Before the Plague of Undeath struck the land, this lake was a popular site for recreation like bathing and fishing.^{[citation needed]} Now it lies dark and silent, dead trees floating along the edge and rotting on the bottom. Gunther's Retreat, mostly inhabited by mindless Scourge zombies, is situated on the lake's largest island.

In Year 24, the Deathguards had to shut down the kids' summer camp because of psychos wearing masks near the lake.^{[citation needed]} This is Clyde Kellen's favorite spot for fishing.

During the trial of Garrosh Hellscream, after witnessing her husband Rhonin being killed during the trial in Pandaria, Vereesa Windrunner met with her sister Sylvanas Windrunner by the lake and spoke about poisoning Garrosh.^[2]
