Brutallus is a pit lord in the Broken Shore. He is one of four Broken Shore world bosses that have a chance to become available to players while the Nether Disruptor building is active.

The pit lord Brutallus is a veteran of many battles, including the most recent battle at the Sunwell. His tactics are rarely sophisticated, often relying on pure force to dominate enemy armies.

History

Years after his defeat at the Sunwell Plateau, Brutallus was one of the many demons summoned by Gul'dan in front of the Tomb of Sargeras to attack the forces of Azeroth in the climactic, disastrous battle at the Broken Shore. For a time he guarded the entrance to the Tomb alongside Lady Sacrolash and Grand Warlock Alythess.

He later relocated to Wrynnfall, where the Wardens sent adventurers to kill him again.

Overview

Brutallus' Meteor Slash is devastating unless its damage is shared between many enemies. Avoid taking damage from Crashing Embers, especially when affected by Meteor Slash.

Healers

• Stand near your allies when Brutallus casts Meteor Slash.
• Prioritize allies affected by Meteor Slash for heavy healing if they are affected by Crashing Embers.

Tanks

• Face Brutallus toward a large group of allies when he casts Meteor Slash.

Abilities

•  Meteor Slash — Inflicts 12000000 Fire damage divided between all enemies in a cone within 50 yds in front of Brutallus. Affected enemies also take an additional 50% Fire damage from all sources for 15 sec.
•  Crashing Embers — Flaming embers crash down from the sky, inflicting 138750 to 161250 Fire damage to all enemies within 10 on impact. Affected enemies also take 185000 to 215000 Fire damage every 1 sec. and are confused for 3 sec.
•  Rupture — Brutallus crashes down rupturing the earth under 5 enemies, inflicting 647500 to 752500 Physical damage and knocking down enemies who remain in the area.
