CVar ffxGlow

Toggles Fullscreen Glow. The checkbox to toggle this was removed in 4.0.1. Disabling can improve fps.

Patch changes

• Patch 7.1.0 (2016-10-25): CVar ffxGlow once agains disables the drunk blur graphic effect, but other special graphic filters remain unaffected.
  
• Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Setting the cvar to off no longer disables the drunk blur graphic effect, as well as no longer disabling other special graphic filters (e.g.:  [Scroll of Storytelling]'s effect).
  
• Hotfix (2014-10-30): Settings for SET ffxGlow should no longer be resetting when exiting the game client.
  

Some players reported in the official forums that the variable was still resetting. Several days later, it was fixed for everyone.

• Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Removed from Interface Options.
  
• Patch 1.3.1 (2005-03-24): Default is now 1 (On).
  
• Patch 1.3.0 (2005-03-07): Added.
