The Call to Arms battleground system offers players additional rewards for completing an instance of the featured battleground. The rewards are identical to those offered by the Random Battleground option.

Call to Arms (CtA) battlegrounds are regular battlegrounds selected to grant extra rewards. The Call to Arms battleground changes regularly, and is displayed near the top of the list in the PvP interface, marked with '(Call to Arms)' to delineate it from the other options. NPCs corresponding to the current CtA battleground can be found in capital cities.

The bonus rewards for completing a Call to Arms battleground are the same as those offered by Random Battlegrounds, and are displayed in the information pane when the option is selected. Greater rewards are offered for winning the battleground, while a smaller amount is rewarded for completing the battleground with a loss or a draw. Each day, the first victory in a Call to Arms battleground (or Random Battleground) offers a larger reward; after this, the reward for a victory is reduced.

Players only receive additional rewards for completing CtA battlegrounds when having queued for that specific battleground. The Call to Arms and Random Battleground systems essentially offer players two different ways of earning the same rewards, and Call to Arms battlegrounds chosen randomly through the Random Battleground option will not be eligible for double rewards.

The current Call to Arms battleground cannot be down-voted, and is always eligible for selection by the Random Battleground option regardless of down-voting. CtA battlegrounds that have already been down-voted by the player will not display the 'thumbs down' icon, but once a new Call to Arms battleground is selected, will return to down-voted status.

The Call to Arms system cycles through battlegrounds in an apparently random order, with all existing battlegrounds included in the Call to Arms cycle. You can find the schedule for Call to Arms battlegrounds in the in-game Calendar, by selecting 'Battleground Call to Arms' from the drop-down 'Filters' list.

A new Call to Arms battleground is selected twice weekly, with a given battleground featuring from Tuesday to Thursday, or from Friday to Monday. Call to Arms battlegrounds change at 12:01 AM (midnight), server time.

There is always a Call to Arms battleground. However, since battlegrounds are restricted by level, non-max level players may at times be unable to participate in the Call to Arms system. Battlegrounds above a player's level are not displayed in the PvP interface, so if no Call to Arms option is currently displayed, it is likely due to the current battleground being unavailable at your character's level.

Rewards

The rewards offered by completing a Call to Arms battleground depend on several factors. Wins earn greater rewards than losses or draws, and the first win of the day in a CtA battleground or Random Battleground offers even larger rewards. Rewards are also determined by the character's level, with max level players receiving more than other players.

The following rewards are offered by both the Call to Arms and Random Battleground systems:
