Camels are a type of herbivore mammals native to Uldum. They were introduced in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. The ettin Dormus the Camel-Hoarder in Feralas is known for keeping numerous camels at his disposal.

Fennimore Quigley is credited with milking the first camel and breaking the record for "longest unintentional flight", all in the same afternoon.^[1]

After the Fourth War, camels are also found in Tanaris.^[2]

Acquiring a camel mount will award the achievement [One Hump or Two?].

[Reins of the Brown Riding Camel] and [Reins of the Tan Riding Camel] can both be purchased from Blacksmith Abasi <Ramkahen Quartermaster> at a cost 100 upon reaching exalted with the Ramkahen.
[Reins of the Grey Riding Camel] is a guaranteed drop from Dormus the Camel-Hoarder.
[White Riding Camel] was available from a rare loot card in the TCG set Tomb of the Forgotten.

[Pygmy Camel] is purchased from Provisioner Qorra for 300 at revered with Uldum Accord.

Camels were added as a family of Cunning hunter pets in patch 9.0.1. In addition to true camels, which are almost exclusively found in Uldum, the family also includes the alpacas of Vol'dun.
