Camp Aparaje was a tauren village in eastern Stonetalon Mountains that was attacked by Grimtotem forces[1] from Grimtotem Post led by Grundig Darkcloud.[2] Makaba Flathoof used to live there with his daughter Kaya.[1][3]
It was burned to the ground by members of the Horde in their attacks against the Grimtotem.[citation needed]
In the RPG
Two separate tauren villages are found in the Greatwood Vale, the Grimtotem Village and Camp Aparaje. Both are inhabited by the Grimtotem tauren, a tribe of dissidents who do not share Cairne Bloodhoof's ideals of uniting the clans and instead focus on seeking retribution for the wrongs imposed on them in recent history.[4]
Notes
- This was just one of two villages the Grimtotem had in Stonetalon Mountains, the other being Grimtotem Post.
- It's interesting that the large totem is red instead of the normal blue used by the Grimtotem tribe.
Speculation

- Aparaje may be named after Apa'ro, the tauren name for the White Stag Malorne.
- Despite it not being directly said, as it is the village of Makaba Flathoof, it was very likely a village of the Horde.
