Captain Grunwald is a high-ranking officer of the Northwatch Expeditionary Unit operating in Azshara at Talrendis Point. He has been sent to help coordinate an assault on Orgrimmar with the Night Elf forces in Azshara.[1] His base of operations is a tower guarded by his elite Northwatch Bodyguards. He is slain by members of the Horde with the aid Slinky Sharpshiv. Once his head is delivered to Chawg, he explains that it will be sent to Northwatch Hold to intimidate the other officers there.[2]
