Captain Vilethorn is an orc quest giver located in several locations throughout the Shimmering Expanse, though most notably in the Horde outpost Legion's Rest. He is first discovered by Horde adventurers inside Nespirah, where he is looking to find weapons and gear for the survivors of the Horde parties inside her. Later, he is seen as a busy and strict Horde captain who is working on the assault against the naga in the Shimmering Expanse, later leading the assault in the Ruins of Vashj'ir, and witnessing the ultimate battle loss against the naga.
He is killed during an attack at the forward post.
