Capture the Flag

General Concept

General setup and goal of "capture the flag" games.

• There are 2 base areas.
• Each base area has a flag.
• The goal is to capture the enemy flag and bring it to the flag at your base.

WoW implementation

Setup and goal of Warsong Gulch and Eye of the Storm battlegrounds.

Capture

1. Go to the enemy base and touch their flag. This attaches the flag to you and you become the flag bearer.
2. Take the flag back to your base. Your side gets one flag capture if your flag is on its stand.

Complications

• Every member of the other side who can see the bearer is trying to kill the bearer.
  • If the bearer is killed, they drop the flag on that spot of ground.
  • If a member of the bearers team touches the flag, they become the new bearer.
  • If a member of the flags team touches it, the flag teleports back on to its stand in its base.
• Your flag must be on its stand to be able to return the enemy flag.
• Any ability or spell that provides complete immunity should cause the flag to drop.
• If you use stealth or attempt to get on a mount you will drop the flag.

Goals

Your team has 2 competing goals.

1. Keep your flag on its stand.
2. Bring the enemy flag to your flag stand.
