The Captured Riding Bat is one of the Forsaken mounts that was captured by the forces of King Genn Greymane during the final battle for Gilneas City during the quest 
[1-30] Slowing the Inevitable.
The player uses this bat to rain death and destruction over the Forsaken army besieging Gilneas City from the Northern Headlands in northern Gilneas with their New Plague arsenal.
