Vignettes are small events, things like treasure chests, rare or rare-elite mobs, and the occasional scripted event. Vignettes involving mobs are shown on the minimap, (but treasure chests likely aren't), have a hidden tracking quest attached to them, and can be completed for treasure and [War Resources] one time per character.
