Engineering and Blacksmithing enchantments[]

Enchantment was formerly the only skill that applied an augment to an item without intervention of an item.

Now, Enchantment CAN create items that provide the augment (in the same fashion as an inscription or arcanum). Also, both Blacksmithing and Engineering have recipes that add augments to items in the fashion of enchantment.

Should we retain the Enchantments category solely for "direct augments via the enchanting skill"? Should we have separate pages for "augment items (scrolls) of enchantments", or roll them into the page with the enchantment itself? What category should the engineering/blacksmithing 'enchants' go in? --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 17:26, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

I've heard the term "tinker" to describe at least the engineering ones, just to throw that out there. -- Harveydrone 20:56, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
That is the category the engineering ones sort out in, in the tradeskill recipe dialog. Whether a non-engineer would associate the two is debatable. I've been getting clobbered recently for "being bold". Makes a body cautious. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 23:59, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
