While many of the skeletons categorized as "Skeletal mages" do indeed have mage abilities, a lot of them lean towards other classes, with warlocks being one such example. Should we rename this category to Skeletal casters instead, and only have the skeletons using the specific skeletal mage model fit under the skeletal mage race. They could all go under the same category still though, but other skeletal casters could just go under the regular skeleton race. Not a big issue for me either way, just something I thought about while looking through removed articles and adding them to race categories. PeterWind (talk) 10:58, 24 January 2017 (UTC)

I think we can keep all the "skeleton casters" as "skeletal mages" for their race because that's how they were called in Warcraft III and diablo 2 but I have no strong opinion about this either. Xporc (talk) 12:53, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
Yeah I wasn't really sure if it was an official name. Looking through skeletons, the races aren't too consistent as is right now. I'm going through all the articles for things removed in cata, so it will be... a while untill I'm done with that. But after that, if it's still an issue, I plan to look through the spooky skeletons, and sort out the skeleton, skeleton mage and skeleton warrior race tags. But yeah sounds fine to me. Let's just stick all the caster skellies under the skeleton mage race. PeterWind (talk) 13:55, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
"I'm going through all the articles for things removed in cata" and you've got my respect for that, man. But you're right, skeletons are kinda messy right now. Xporc (talk) 14:18, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
Thanks! It's been something I've been meaning to do for years now. With our recent decision to add npcs/mobs back into their race categories, I just decided that now was as good a time as any. PeterWind (talk) 16:48, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
