Wow 15.png

The subject of this article or section is part of WoW's Anniversary, a seasonal event that typically lasts two weeks. Once the event has run its course, this will no longer be available until next year, but there are no guarantees.

Celebration Packages are used to buff characters' reputation and experience gains during World of Warcraft anniversary periods. Each time the item was available, the percent bonus was equal to the number of the anniversary, for instance a 7% bonus for the 7th anniversary. They were mailed to players who logged in during World of Warcraft's anniversary, starting with the seventh, with the sole exception of the tenth anniversary (which was a much more extensive event).

Notes

The tabard effect of the buff prior to patch 8.2.5.

  • Until patch 8.2.5, the buff also used to give the character the visual of the  [Contest Winner's Tabard].
  • This item is consumed when used.
  • The buff persists through death and login sessions. It also cannot be removed once applied.
  • At the end of the event, the item is removed from characters, as it is only usable during the anniversary event. Characters who are still logged in at midnight on the last day will continue to have the item and use it until they hearth, port, or log out.
  • A tenth-anniversary version exists in the game files but was never made available to players.
