Chi Wave is a level 15 Brewmaster and Windwalker monk talent. When activated, it sends out a small green "firework" that will bounce around damaging enemies and healing allies. It can heal or damage the same target multiple times, but not consecutively - it must alternate between an ally and an enemy each bounce. It has a somewhat slow travel time, so if cast while standing away from your party, it can take a while before it starts healing.

Patches and hotfixes

• Patch 7.2.5 (2017-06-13): Chi Wave healing increased by 73%.
  
• Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): No longer available to Mistweaver monks. Range from target increased to 25 yards (was 20).
  
• Hotfix (2013-03-14): Chi Wave should now correctly bounce between targets that are in range.
  
• Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05): Now does 100% more damage and 14% less healing, and no longer costs Chi, and has a 15-second cooldown.
  
• Patch 5.1.0 (2012-11-27): The healing provided has been reduced by 25%.
