Clan Ukhel is one of the lesser maruuk centaur clans, located within the Ohn'ahran Plains. In dramatically stark contrast to the other centaur clans, the Ukhel practice necromancy; using the magic to raise the spirits of many bakar and ohuna in The Eternal Kurgans. They have allied with Clan Nokhud, and ultimately commit greater sacrilege by using their dark magic to raise the spirits of long deceased ancestors and khans to fight against the other Centaurs during the Nokhud Offensive.

The clan's leader, Gravelord Monkh, attempts to desecrate the spirits of Teera and Maruuk; succeeding in awakening them but not enthralling them. They are soon after killed by the awakened centaur spirits, who are outraged at the idea that their legacy has been besmirched by some of their kindred defiling graves.

It is unknown how the Ukhel learned or when they started using Necromancy. Initiate Zorig claims that the ancestors of the Ukhel would be mortified if they found out what their descendants were doing.^[1] Several Ukhel Deathspeakers exclaim fear of seeing their ancestors upon death.
