Command Pet is a level 22 hunter ability. It causes the hunter's current pet to use its specialization's active ability:
- Ferocity:
[Primal Rage], which increases haste of the user and all party or raid members, similar to 
[Bloodlust]. - Tenacity:
[Fortitude of the Bear], which temporarily increases the max health of the hunter and pet. - Cunning:
[Master's Call], which removes and temporarily prevents movement impairing effects on the pet and a friendly target.
Notes[]
- The Marksmanship talent [Lone Wolf] will change this ability to [Fortitude of the Bear] when the hunter doesn't have a pet by their side.
- This ability is unusable when using a pet that hasn't learn its specialization ability yet.
- Command Pet is similar to the warlock ability [Command Demon].
Patch changes[]
- Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Tenacity ability changed to [Fortitude of the Bear] (was [Survival of the Fittest]).
- Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now learned at level 22 (was 38).
- Hotfix (2018-09-11): Command Pet will now properly change to the appropriate ability ( [Survival of the Fittest], [Master's Call], [Primal Rage]) when entering Arenas.
- Hotfix (2018-07-27):
- Command Pet should not get overridden with Primal Rage unless the Hunter (and pet) are at least Level 65.
- Command Pet should not get overridden with Master's Call unless the Hunter (and pet) are at least Level 74.
