Conjure Mana Gem is an Arcane mage talent. It conjures a [Mana Gem] that can be used to restore mana and temporarily increase spell power.
Notes[]
- The [Mana Gem] has a cooldown of 1.5 minutes. It does not share a cooldown with mana potions.
- Conjure Mana Gem cannot be cast if there's already a Mana Gem in inventory, even if it's partially used. To be able to conjure a fresh gem, the existing gem must be used or deleted.
- Deleting a Mana Gem while it's on cooldown and then summoning a new one will not reset the cooldown.
- Unlearning Conjure Mana Gem will automatically remove any existing Mana Gem from your inventory.
Patch changes[]
- Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 8 Arcane talent (was a level 17 Arcane ability). Mana Gems now restore 25% mana (was 10%) and additionally increase spell damage for 12 seconds.
- Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Re-added as a level 17 Arcane ability (was a level 47 ability for all mages).
- Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Removed.
- Hotfix (2013-09-11): Fixed an issue where a Mana Gem modified by the [Glyph of Loose Mana] was restoring more mana than intended. The total amount of mana restored should now be the same as an unglyphed Mana Gem.
- Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Mana Gems once again count as conjured items and will disappear after being logged out for 15 minutes. Now learned at level 47 (was 48).
- Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Now a single-rank ability that creates a [Mana Gem], which scales by level (previously created separate items based on rank). Now trainable at level 48 (was 28).
- Patch 3.2.0 (2009-08-04): Conjured mana gems no longer share a cooldown with Warlock Healthstones.
- Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): All spell ranks are now named Conjure Mana Gem, rather than being named for the created item. Conjured mana gems no longer disappear from your backpack after being logged out for more than 15 minutes. Higher ranks of Conjure Mana Gem will recharge an existing mana gem to maximum charges.
- Patch 2.3.2 (2008-01-08): Mana restore variance substantially reduced, (Rank 5 - Emerald) now restores 2340 to 2460 mana and has three charges.
