Conjure Refreshment is a level 5 mage spell that provides the caster with health- and mana-replenishing food. Casting it places into the mage's inventory a stack of 20 refreshments of an appropriate level.

Refreshments

Icon-time This section contains information that is out-of-date.

Conjured food stacks to 20, and can be traded to other players. Normally there is no limit to the amount of food a mage may conjure or carry, aside from inventory limitations; however players are limited to 80 (4 stacks). Refreshments are conjured items, and as such will disappear after being logged out for 15 minutes.

The exact refreshments provided by this spell depend on the level of the casting mage. This used to determine the required level for use of those refreshments, players even a few levels below that of the mage may have been unable to use the refreshments provided by them. There is no way for mages to conjure lower-level refreshments. However, the level restrictions on conjured food were lifted and they all provide the same amount of health and mana.

Trivia

Icon-search-48x48 This section contains information that needs to be cleaned up. Reason: Turn this into facts and examples of using conjure refreshment. Why it wasn't used in Westfall or Durotar seems redundant since basically any spell could be speculated why they weren't used during certain events.
  • It is unclear why the Alliance and Horde do not use this spell en masse to feed their starving populations in Westfall and Durotar; it is possible to sustain an entire population for ten millennia using arcane energy, as can be evidenced by the nightborne of Suramar. However, it is possible that conjuring refreshments en masse to feed an entire community requires substantial amounts of mana, and renders it impractical to attempt in the long-term without a considerable source of arcane energy; it is also possible that while capable of sustaining groups for battles and military campaigns, they are simply much less nutritional and simplistic than naturally-made cuisine, and have the additional disadvantage of eventually vanishing if left uneaten. The Schools of Arcane Magic - Conjuration implies that it is a considerable feat for even more formidable specialists in conjuration to summon several glasses of water, or even a tankard. Jaina Proudmoore was able to conjure some "delicious breads and beverages" for Arthas and his men,[1] and her conjured cookies were deemed by Kinndy Sparkshine to be "master" cookies, superior in flavor and quality compared to the latter's "apprentice" cookies.[2]
