The ghostly Court of Farondis was cursed by the destruction of the  [Tidestone of Golganneth] in Azsuna, they have come to hate their prince for incurring the wrath of Queen Azshara. However, upon learning that the naga invasion led by Tidemistress Athissa was sent by Queen Azshara herself, they forgive him for trying to do the very thing that he did before a second time. The Court, aided by the adventurers, fought against the Hatecoil naga and led the defense of Azsuna during the Legion's assault.

Magister Garuhod managed to break free of the curse through a special brew. After this, the members of the Court continued trying to replicate his methods in the hopes of finding a cure for themselves.

They are one of the factions heroes can acquire reputation for in order to purchase certain toys and gear in Legion.

Several Nar'thalas magi left Azsuna and traveled to Stormwind City around the time of the Fourth War, where they provide portal services for Alliance players to the Crumbled Palace of the Court of Farondis. Stormwind guards refer to them as their allies.

The ghostly Court of Farondis and its allies continue the fight against an onslaught of invaders on the cursed island of Azsuna.
