The Crypt's entrance
The Badlands Crypt is located southeast of Hammertoe's Digsite[51.3, 35], at the top of the hill behind Sigrun Ironhew. Entrance to it is via a natural and unmarked path up the hill. The bottom of the Crypt contains a number of urns, chests, and skeletons, with the centerpiece being an armored skeleton seated on a throne with the Sword of the Barbarian King next to it.
Trivia[]
- This place is a reference to the Conan the Barbarian story "The Thing in the Crypt", in which Conan finds a crypt and takes the sword of a mummified king sitting on a throne. This also inspired a scene in the 1982 film Conan the Barbarian.
