CurseForge is a mod website that hosts game-specific addon content for many games including World of Warcraft addons. On August 16, 2016, CurseForge (and Curse) was acquired by Twitch for an undisclosed amount.[1] On December 12, 2018, Fandom announced that they had acquired Curse Media from Twitch, leaving the rest of Curse operating under CurseForge with Twitch.[2][3] On June 22, 2020, Overwolf had acquired CurseForge.[4]
