Dalvengyr is a powerful nathrezim under the service of the Burning Legion, directly commanded the Scourge during the Third War. Unaware the Legion's defeat at Mount Hyjal and Archimode's destruction, Dalvengyr continued to wait for word from the demon lord as he stood his posts in Lordaeron, where he and his fellow demons and undead lackeys got killed by combined forces consisted of naga and blood elves commanded by Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider and Lady Vashj. Later he returned to Azeroth through summoning by Gul'dan in the nightborne homeland, only to be defeated again by adventurers.
History[]
After Kael'thas repaired the observatories in Dalaran's ruins, Dalvengyr led a force of undead into his territory and destroyed his outlying outposts. Garithos ordered Kael to defend Dalaran at all costs, but then removed his foot soldiers, cavalry and support teams (all human and dwarven troops). Kael was faced with a suicide mission until Lady Vashj arrived with her naga forces. Together, they destroyed Dalvengyr's bases and slew the dreadlord.
Dalvengyr is summoned by Gul'dan during his encounter in the Nighthold.
Abilities[]
Carrion Wave — The Dreadlord causes a wave of chaotic explosions to wash over enemies in front of them, inflicting 112 Shadow damage and putting targets to sleep for 3 sec.
