To be eligible for the Crushing the Crown quest, you must complete a quest chain that starts with 
[1-70] Something Stinks.
- For the Horde, the quest chain starts with Detective Snap Snagglebolt in Orgrimmar.
- For the Alliance, the quest chain starts with Inspector Snip Snagglebolt in Stormwind.

- Hotfix (2017-02-09): All versions of "Crushing the Crown" should now grant the achievement Dangerous Love.
- Patch 3.3.0 (2009-12-08): Achievement completely redesigned.
